The Jeep Renegade distributes 180 horsepower to your wheels and is mitigated by a 9-speed automatic transmission that precisely shifts and handles. The powertrain on the Renegade is in no way underpowered due to the 175 lb-ft of torque rating on the engine. This enormous amount of torque for a smaller SUV is more than enough to make it light on its feet but rigid on the road. The drive is gentle, authoritative and award-winning. A 1.3 MultiAir turbo engine is ready on the Trailhawk and gives you 177 horsepower but 210 lb-ft of torque. Torque is the most important spec to look at when you’re thinking of buying an off-road machine, and the small Renegade has plenty of it to dole out.
Our favorite available group on the Jeep Renegade is called the Advanced Safety Group. It’s available on the Sport trim but standard on many other trims. It features Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, and Lane Keep Assist, among many other features we encourage you to ask us about. The practical build of the Renegade works to its advantage, too. It features traction control, electronic stability, and brake assist. Seatbelt pre-tensioners are another practical design perk in the Renegade. What Jeep did here is give you a full-bodied safety platform that includes both smart design and driver-assist features that stabilize your Jeep and keep it in its own lane and area of the world.
The Sport is the entry-level trim level available at Don White’s Timonium Jeep that has a four-cylinder engine reaching 180-horsepower. The wheels are made from steel and are 16-inches, and other exterior features include heated side mirrors and side mirrors that can be adjusted through power settings. The interior also has a power-adjustable steering wheel, dual climate control, a driver’s seat that is adjustable by height, foldable rear seats, and a removable floor panel. The infotainment display screen is 7.0-inches and integrates via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, playing your music of choice over the six-speaker sound system.
The Jeepster is one of the 2021 Jeep Renegade trim levels, though it is technically a more updated form of the Sport. The wheels are now made from aluminum and are 19-inches in size, and the front grille looks more rugged as it is glossy black. The decals do show up over the exterior of the SUV to showcase that it is the Jeepster Edition that you have. The interior still has the same features, and the seats are still made from cloth, but they are a special black color with limited-edition stitching in a gray thread.
The Latitude is the second technical trim level available to you for this year’s Renegade in Cockeysville. On the exterior, there are roof racks, 17-inch wheels made from alloy, tinted windows to help give you a sense of privacy, and front headlights that turn on automatically. Inside, there is a heads-up display to give you real-time access to the information you need to know, leather detailing on the steering wheel, and more durable cloth on the seats. Additional features include ambient lighting throughout and body-color paint on the exterior mirrors and any handle on the doors.
The 80th Anniversary is a version of the Latitude when considering 2021 Jeep Renegade trim levels in Cockeysville. The wheels have a metallic look to them now and are two inches larger at 19-inches total, while there is also badging all over the body to showcase the edition. The interior boasts black cloth seating and a black headliner, with comfortable floor mats and that will aid in keeping your Jeep clean. The Islander Edition is another version of the Latitude, and the name which it has is appropriate as it feels like a car for a tropical destination. There is a panoramic sunroof that covers two panes of the roof, and the seats have specialized embroidery on them for the limited edition vehicle. This is seen in the tags that are present on the seating and on the blue detailing, though there are also exterior badges on the body.
The Limited is an upgrade from the Latitude and the third of the 2021 Jeep Renegade trim levels in Cockeysville. It has an updated engine that is turbocharged with 177-horsepower, and it is available in four-wheel-drive as standard. Exterior features are automatic windshield wipers, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and start, and more. The vehicle is only available in four-wheel-drive, and there is a low-range, low-gear driving setting to help cross terrains. The wheels are only 17-inches, but all-terrain tires are the norm. The raised suspension aids in clearing obstacles, while the tow hooks will help you out if you were to get stuck anywhere. To cross treacherous terrain there are skid plates underneath the truth, control for when you are going down hills, and even a spare tire that is the same size as a standard tire.
