The 2021 Jeep Renegade is the first vehicle many people consider when they contemplate buying a Jeep. It’s their most economical model, and it’s also an extra small compact SUV that is ideal for busy singles or couples just starting out their lives in this big world. This year’s 2021 Jeep Renegade in Cockeysville has already captured quite a few hearts here at Don White’s Timonium Jeep. The model is affordable and allows for premium upgrades without forcing you to pay too much for those luxuries. It’s trail-rated just like every other Jeep, but it caters to people who want more of a smart, tech savvy SUV that can moonlight as an off-road vehicle once in awhile. For you more practical folks out there who still want to own a Jeep, this is the one for you near Parkville Baltimore Towson Bel Air Maryland.
Each vehicle has National and Regional that are included in the advertised internet price. There may be additional incentives for which you may qualify (conditional). Please add sales tax, MVA tag and title fees, destination charge, and $800 processing fee (not required by law).
The uniform flow of the Renegade looks perfect this year, and when it’s decked out with LED headlamps, it’s even more formal and impressive. It’s playful but a bit more sophisticated than most “cute” small SUVs. It’s a much more mature extra compact. The base model Sport is fitted with dark 16-inch steel wheels that spring alive neck to the distinguished wheel arches. A “Sun and Sound” group of features lets you grab a dual-pane panoramic sunroof for the Renegade, and it really opens up that breath of fresh air that so many people want in an off-road vehicle. A Luxury Group III is available for the Trailhawk and gains you LED cornering fog lamps, bi-function LED projector headlamps, and LED taillamps and headlamps. For an illuminating look, the Trailhawk’s Luxury group is the perfect gift to yourself.
The interior of the 2021 Jeep Renegade in Cockeysville is a union of style, grace, and technology. The Kenwood Premium Audio System boasts 9 big speakers of pure musical joy. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard this year and include hands-free voice and texting that will streamline all of your communications in the Renegade. Choose from woodsy, dark cloth upholstery or leather interior. Don White’s Timonium Jeep near Parkville Baltimore Towson Bel Air Maryland is always up for a full tour of the interior of the Renegade. It’s one of its finest qualities and a true reason to buy. The standard 7-inch UConnect 4 touchscreen is on the Sport and Latitude, but you’ll find a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen is even better. It also features navigation guidance and full maps of your surrounding areas, and we know how important that can be for people who are on trails and trying to conquer the elements (or find a delightful dining establishment to eat in before they continue a long road trip). The Renegade’s tech bill of fare is more than just enough. It’s advanced and pleasant to use.
The 9-speed automatic transmission on the 2021 Renegade is just one of the major features you want to pay attention to. Like all Jeep vehicles, the Renegade is 100% trail-rated and ready for America’s tightest trails. One of our favorite features on the new Renegade is its Selec-Terrain Traction Management system. You pick the environment you want to conquer, pick your settings, and your Renegade will intelligently customize your drive to make sure that you come out as the champ on the other side.
The Jeep Renegade distributes 180 horsepower to your wheels and is mitigated by a 9-speed automatic transmission that precisely shifts and handles. The powertrain on the Renegade is in no way underpowered due to the 175 lb-ft of torque rating on the engine. This enormous amount of torque for a smaller SUV is more than enough to make it light on its feet but rigid on the road. The drive is gentle, authoritative and award-winning. A 1.3 MultiAir turbo engine is ready on the Trailhawk and gives you 177 horsepower but 210 lb-ft of torque. Torque is the most important spec to look at when you’re thinking of buying an off-road machine, and the small Renegade has plenty of it to dole out.
Our favorite available group on the Jeep Renegade is called the Advanced Safety Group. It’s available on the Sport trim but standard on many other trims. It features Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, and Lane Keep Assist, among many other features we encourage you to ask us about. The practical build of the Renegade works to its advantage, too. It features traction control, electronic stability, and brake assist. Seatbelt pre-tensioners are another practical design perk in the Renegade. What Jeep did here is give you a full-bodied safety platform that includes both smart design and driver-assist features that stabilize your Jeep and keep it in its own lane and area of the world.
The Sport is the entry-level trim level available at Don White’s Timonium Jeep that has a four-cylinder engine reaching 180-horsepower. The wheels are made from steel and are 16-inches, and other exterior features include heated side mirrors and side mirrors that can be adjusted through power settings. The interior also has a power-adjustable steering wheel, dual climate control, a driver’s seat that is adjustable by height, foldable rear seats, and a removable floor panel. The infotainment display screen is 7.0-inches and integrates via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, playing your music of choice over the six-speaker sound system.
The Jeepster is one of the 2021 Jeep Renegade trim levels, though it is technically a more updated form of the Sport. The wheels are now made from aluminum and are 19-inches in size, and the front grille looks more rugged as it is glossy black. The decals do show up over the exterior of the SUV to showcase that it is the Jeepster Edition that you have. The interior still has the same features, and the seats are still made from cloth, but they are a special black color with limited-edition stitching in a gray thread.
The Latitude is the second technical trim level available to you for this year’s Renegade in Cockeysville. On the exterior, there are roof racks, 17-inch wheels made from alloy, tinted windows to help give you a sense of privacy, and front headlights that turn on automatically. Inside, there is a heads-up display to give you real-time access to the information you need to know, leather detailing on the steering wheel, and more durable cloth on the seats. Additional features include ambient lighting throughout and body-color paint on the exterior mirrors and any handle on the doors.
The 80th Anniversary is a version of the Latitude when considering 2021 Jeep Renegade trim levels in Cockeysville. The wheels have a metallic look to them now and are two inches larger at 19-inches total, while there is also badging all over the body to showcase the edition. The interior boasts black cloth seating and a black headliner, with comfortable floor mats and that will aid in keeping your Jeep clean. You also will receive an upgraded infotainment system in this version of the Latitude as it is now 8.4-inches and has navigational technology included.
The Islander Edition is another version of the Latitude, and the name which it has is appropriate as it feels like a car for a tropical destination. The wheels are silver on this vehicle for a clean and classy look, and they are also taller at 19-inches. There is a panoramic sunroof that covers two panes of the roof, and the seats have specialized embroidery on them for the limited edition vehicle. This is seen in the tags that are present on the seating and on the blue detailing, though there are also exterior badges on the body.
The Limited is an upgrade from the Latitude and the third of the 2021 Jeep Renegade trim levels in Cockeysville. It has an updated engine that is turbocharged with 177-horsepower, and it is available in four-wheel-drive as standard. Exterior features are automatic windshield wipers, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and start, and more. The interior has leather upholstery on all of the seats, heated seating and steering wheels, a heads-up display with updates, and power outlets for 115-volts. The 8.4-inch touchscreen is present in all versions of the Limited trim, and you do receive navigation.
The most upgraded trim available for the Renegade at Don White’s Timonium Jeep is the Trailhawk that is made for off-roading. The vehicle is only available in four-wheel-drive, and there is a low-range, low-gear driving setting to help cross terrains. The wheels are only 17-inches, but all-terrain tires are the norm. The raised suspension aids in clearing obstacles, while the tow hooks will help you out if you were to get stuck anywhere. To cross treacherous terrain there are skid plates underneath the truth, control for when you are going down hills, and even a spare tire that is the same size as a standard tire.
