The Wrangler is an international icon. It stands for all things America: freedom, hard work, and tenacity. This year, the first hybrid Wrangler will be released in North America, but that’s by far the only news about this latest edition. Don White’s Timonium Jeep welcomes the 2021 Jeep Wrangler in Cockeysville and joyfully invites customers near Parkville Baltimore Towson Bel Air Maryland to take a closer look at everything this off-road hero has to offer.
Each vehicle has National and Regional that are included in the advertised internet price. There may be additional incentives for which you may qualify (conditional). Please add sales tax, MVA tag and title fees, destination charge, and $800 processing fee (not required by law).
The Wrangler gets more classy this year, but it’s still the same classic Wrangler shape you’ve come to know and love. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport features 17-inch steel wheels, tow hooks, and old-fashioned crank windows for a countrified appeal. A Willys Sport adds black-painted wheels and grille. The Sahara takes things to another level with body-color grille with chrome inserts and body-colored fender flairs for extra pizazz. Ready for a Rubicon? You’ll get rock rails, soft-top roof, and 17-inch wheels with 33-inch off-road tires. Options for your Wrangler’s setup are excellent this year. For example, there’s a Zipperless Sunrider soft top, Black freedom top three-piece hardtop, and many other choices you can choose from. The convertibility of the Wrangler has always been its chief selling point, but today’s options are so far above what we’ve gotten in the past that it sometimes seems like another lifetime we’re dealing with here. Thankfully, it’s this same lifetime, and you can get features like this standard on higher trims and optional on lower ones. Be sure to ask about packages that might add your favorite configuration for less.
Jeep’s invitation is to “elevate your adventure” with the new Wrangler interior. They’ve packed it with modern technology and a more spacious attitude. They’ve also given you an Alpine premium audio system with 552-watt amplifier and a unique, crystal clear sound. The new Wrangler features removable carpet and even one-way floor drain valves so that all you have to do when you’re done playing is hose the interior down and then be on your way for other, less messy adventures. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler in Cockeysville also features heated front seats and steering wheel for snug comfort in winter time. Even more exciting is the Sky One-Touch Power Top that lets you bring the outdoors inside of your Jeep with just a press of a button.
A 6-speed manual transmission sticks around for another year, and we’re so pleased to see that not every automaker is abandoning the old-fashioned bliss of driving a manual vehicle. Sometimes only a hands-on driving experience will do. For those who like things a little more automated, there’s an 8-speed automatic transmission standard on most trims that will give you a more relaxed drive. The Wrangler is available in 4X4, of course, and contains some of the most groundbreaking 4X4 systems in the world. In addition to this, you get features like four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip rear differential, and Command-Trac 4X4.
The new 4xe is going to be rated at 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Confirmed for sure, though, is a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine rated at 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.0L diesel V6 rated at 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid plug-in is set to be released later in the year, so don’t expect to see it for a little while. For now, you have a lot of time to daydream about what it might be like to drive a 375 horsepower Jeep Wrangler. Now, that’s a good dream. The power of the new Wrangler is made all the more exciting because of the upcoming 4xe. We never thought we’d see a hybrid plug-in Wrangler, but we have full knowledge now that it’s on the way.
One of the most groundbreaking features on the new Wrangler is a Forward-Facing Off-road camera that captures ground images out of the view of the driver. You can “Check entire surroundings” and spot things that might harm your Jeep in natural settings (such as glass in the road you wouldn’t normally be able to see). A clean camera view is just one of the ways your Wrangler protects itself – and you – from injury. The Wrangler is “ready for whatever comes your way,” and gives you peace of mind with features like radar-based blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. In recent years, these innovative features have transformed the way drivers think about safety. In the old days, all you had were seatbelts and airbags to keep you safe. Now, you still have the old-fashioned safety devices, just with better design, and you also have radar and sensors that monitor the exterior of your Wrangler and keep you in the loop. Your vehicle can even respond to prevent a crash in some instances (such as with automatic emergency braking).
